I am a student of 10th standard and I have started to know more about photography from my father and now I have started assisting him in his photoshoots since 2 years.
Photography is not just knowing the camera settings or techniques. It's a hell lot more to start with. Its the combination of many many small things which I will try to explain in this blog to you all. These are my observations & findings I don't claim it to be perfect.
I SHOOT RAW
Photography Prerequisite :
1)Know the customer.
2)Know the actual requirement of the customer.
3)Check with honesty if the customer's requirement can be fulfilled or not and see if it can be done Indoor Or would need a Outdoor photoshoot.
4)Visualise the outcome and think which props or equipments will be required to complete the job and accordingly advising them what package they should choose.
PhotoShoot Day :
1)Explain the day's proceedings to the customer.
2)Since we handle heavy and expensive equipments explaining the safety instructions is must.
3)Setup the props & backgrounds based on the theme selected by the customer. Create colour profiles.
4)Show the captured pictures to the customers.
Post Photoshoot :
1)Data backup is very important. We take images backup in at least two hard drives.
2)Select the images based on the technicalities (clarity & sharpness). We mark them THREE stars.
3)Send the RAW selected images to the customer for them to select their version of best images.
4) We mark customer selected images as FOUR Start.
Post Processing :
1)Select and rate the images in image editing tool (lightroom)and import colour profiles for editing.
2) Colour calibrate the editing monitor too get the best colours. We use ColorMonki for the calibration.
2)Edit and export JPEG.
This is how best quality images gets created which customers cherish for life. So, since there are many many things to master in the field of photography...its BEST TO START EARLY IN LIFE.

Thanks
